With the large load capacity of 2000 sheets and its Windows based operator interface, the Thor can make any job an easy one. You have two choices in folder/feeder units. The 420 and the 438, both are well suited for any mailroom. The 420 Folder Feeder An economical and versatile solution to personalizing and inserting mail. Having the capacity to gather up to 5 sheets and fold them into a letter fold, seven sheets if you are folding in half, gives the 420 the ability to handle most mailing requirements. The 420 has many options for doing intelligent reading. They are: OMR, 3 of 9, 128, and 2 of 5. With this reading capability, the folder will be able to intelligently control 6 to 8 stations of selection, envelope diverting, and dual metering with postal weight calculation or by mark. This folder/feeder will be able to run cut or optional continuous forms. The 438 Folder Feeder The 438 has all the features of the 420 and more. With its heavy duty Folder, the 438 is designed for a 24 hour - 7 days a week capacity. The folder, having polyurethane/steel roller, can fold up to 8 sheets in a letter fold and 12 sheets in a half fold. With the 420 or the 438 folder/feeder and the Mailcrafters Edge or Edge II Series Inserter, your mailing jobs will be processed with accuracy, dependability and speed.
